I’m obsessed with that story and it would be amazing to see what Disney could do with it.” Disney would never do it. The book is about sins and perversions, with brightly coloured rainbow gay undertones. Even though they have watered down some adult stories, like Oliver Twist and Hunchback of Notre Dame, I think they would completely destroy this story. And it would confuse the children to have the main character as the antagonist (let’s face it, Dorian isn’t the good guy), when a shinning hero normally takes centre stage. No, Disney should leave Mr Wilde’s tale alone.

I love the fantasy genre, I love books by Terry Pratchett, JRR Tolkien and Patrick Rothfuss. My favourite film is The Princess Bride and I really need to read the book.
